Prodimex Day held at the Voronezh State University of Engineering Technologies

Prodimex Day was held at the Voronezh State University of Engineering Technologies. At the large-scale career guidance event, second- and third-year students met representatives of Prodimex sugar plants in the Voronezh and Penza regions. 150 students planning a successful career in agribusiness were able to take part in the event.
The official part of the event was opened by Larisa Lygina, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of VGUIT. She spoke about the close cooperation between the university and Prodimex Group, which is carried out through the ProdInTech Progressive Engineering School, targeted training agreements, joint work in five agrotechnology classes, career guidance events and the employment of graduates.
After watching a film about Prodimex, students of the technology and engineering faculties were addressed by HR manager of the company Daria Bondar, representatives of the Elan-Kolenovsky, Khokholsky and Kalacheyevsky sugar plants, and Ivan Vasilchuk, General Director of the Olkhovatsky Sugar Combine.
Representatives of Prodimex sugar plants in the Voronezh and Penza regions told the students about the stages of sugar beet processing, from raw material intake to packaging of the finished product. Using visual materials, they demonstrated the operation of diffusion units, filters, centrifuges and drying complexes.
The meeting was summed up by Viktor Markov, Deputy General Director for Personnel of Prodimex Group, who named the priority areas in the development of a young specialist’s career. At the meeting the students could discuss all the questions that interested them and also take part in a themed quiz with gifts from the company.
