work at agricultural complexes
Russia is the world’s largest wheat exporter. Prodimex is among the leaders in grain production and has one of the largest land banks in the country.
In 2022, our agricultural enterprises grew more than 2 million tonnes of grain, legumes and oilseeds. Every year, Prodimex fields yield an average of 6.2 million tonnes of sugar beet.
The yield of any crop depends on choosing the varieties that are most productive and best suited to the local climate, on soil fertility, and on following requirements for soil cultivation and plant care. An important role is also played by the coordinated work of all links in the process: farmers, carriers, and elevator workers.
Using the example of soybean growing you can see how labor-intensive crop cultivation is.

Prodimex Group controls more than 900 thousand ha of land located in the regions most favorable for growing cereals, legumes and oilseeds.
Agricultural complexes use 10 elevators of their own.

The harvest of grain, legumes and oilseeds is stored in elevators, warehouses and grain bags. Total storage capacity exceeds 1 million tonnes. To ensure the safety and efficient use of products, requirements for intake, placement, post-harvest handling and storage are strictly observed.

Our main goal is to increase yields while taking natural conditions into account.
We apply scientific methods of crop rotation and soil preparation, select and produce seeds suited to specific climatic conditions, and use mineral and organic nutrition systems combined with modern, environmentally friendly technologies for protecting plants against pests and diseases.
Deep loosening of the soil without turning the layer helps to accumulate and conserve moisture, reduces wind and water erosion, and breaks up the plow pan. Applying defecate lets us recycle sugar plant waste and de-acidify soils, which reduces the use of mineral fertilizers.
