Prodimex welcomed participants of the third university championship

Timiryazev academy has launched the 3rd university championship of professional skills within the frames of national competition of the Agency for the Development of Professions and Skills. This time the competition covers 30 agricultural professions. At the opening ceremony, the participants were addressed by the Academy’s rector Prof. Vladimir Trukhachev.

Nikolai Shevchenko, Deputy General Director of Prodimex Group, took part in the festive ceremony that launched the championship. "You, like me many years ago, have chosen one of the most interesting areas for your professional activity. Now it is important for you to keep getting knowledge, striving to make new discoveries and drawing attention to the importance of working on the land. Championship of professional excellence in which you take part will be another step for you in building your future career,” addressed N. Shevchenko.

The first competition took place in 2021 and was held in 6 competencies with 35 students and 55 experts.192 students and 260 experts participate in the current contest. The competitive program of the 3rd university championship of professional skills will last until July 3.

“The 2023 University Qualifying Championship is an excellent platform for realizing students’ opportunities in high-tech, economic, technical and social competencies. Our aim is further promotion of the competences and their integration into educational programs,” said Prof. Vladimir Trukhachev.
