Prodimex group admits that the staff shortage in the agricultural industry has been existing for quite a long time. The company does a lot not only to meet the current manufacturing needs, but also to form the continuity of generations of those who work at its enterprises. The company management are confident that only an integrated approach gives long-term results. Prodimex implements training programs for applicants in agronomy and agro-engineering, particularly for those who gets secondary professional education in order to attract the workforce.

But this is far from the only example of an increase in the number and expertise of employees: Prodimex develops educational centers in cooperation with the agricultural universities. “Thanks to the opening of Prodimex educational center the company has launched a program aimed at providing qualified specialists for the industry in the immediate future. At the same time we keep developing existing programs for students so that they can get training and obtain practical skills for work both in sugar industry and in agriculture,” said Vadim Yeryzhensky, Deputy Director General of Prodimex Group. The Group plans to expand this experience to other regions of the company's presence and now negotiates with Voronezh State Agrarian University.

There are also programs for company employees who can improve their qualifications or master a new profession. Prodimex regularly holds trainings for specialists - agronomists, engineers, etc. Attending them the employees get acquainted with the latest hybrids of crops, fertilizers and plant protection, as well as new technologies. In winter 2023, in Liski (Voronezh region) farm specialists from the beet-growing zone were trained on the new requirements of the FSA (sustainable development ) program. “Social support helps us to keep specialists at our enterprises. The support differs from region to region as we try to select the most effective measures,” says Vadim Yeryzhensky. This strategy has proved effective since nearly every Prodimex Group farm and plant has workers’ dynasties, namely families where 2-3 generations worked or still work at the same plant. Sometimes employees consider change of profession as a further development, but at the same time they remain at the same enterprise. And Prodimex gives them an opportunity to train and acquire new skills.
