"Prodimex" invited students from Timiryazev agricultural academy to Voronezh region farms

As part of the practical training program the group of Timiryazev Academy students visited the production sites of three Prodimex Agro Management Company branches located in the Ertilsky, Paninsky and Bobrovsky districts of Voronezh region. Specialists-to-be currently studying the Business Management program got acquainted with the latest technologies in production and storage of agricultural crops, saw how the logistics of transport flows are organized, as well as how management is generally carried out in an agricultural holding.

The program for the students was quite intense: first they visited the central office of the Prodimex Agro Management Company and got information about managing large integrated structures. After this, there was a trip to the fields of the Ertilsky and Paninsky branches where they see the sugar beets, winter and spring wheat, soybeans, barley, corn and sunflower cultivating technologies. They demonstrated a particular interest in the unique technology for storing sugar beets in piles at beet collection points directly in the fields maintaining optimal storage conditions and minimizing crop losses. Also in the village of Pereleshino, students visited Prodimex’s Tulinovsky elevator which was opened last year after a large-scale reconstruction. The last day of the visit to the enterprises of the Prodimex Group was devoted to getting acquainted with the work of the Khrenovsky stud farm where students consolidated practical knowledge of crop production and also learned about the history of breeding the Oryol breed of trotters and visited the horse stables.
According to the students, the visit to the enterprises of the Prodimex Group allowed them to consolidate in practice the theoretical material got at the academy and also provided a chance to understand the features of large-scale production management processes.
