GC of Prodimex enterprises finished sowing a winter wheat in Voronezhskaya oblast, reported to Interfax Ekaterina Kuznecova, Deputy Director of the holding company Prodimex-Agro.
According to her, the sowing area has been more than 112 thd. ha.
“The fall for winter crops in Chernozemie is productive. Plants of early and average sowing terms are on the tillering stage. The root system is developing well. The insecticide component was used in seed treatment, so the damage on seeding by pest is minimal. According to the forecast, it will freeze a little bit next two weeks during which winter wheat will norther and accumulate sugars before passing the winter” - she said.
Nowadays, the sugar beet is gathered on 80% of the planned area. The croppage is more than 2.3 mln. t. Today, the sunflower gathering is finished on 75% of area. A level of the crop yield is on 20 dt/ha, the croppage is going to be about 27 thd. t. - added Kuznecova. The corn gathering has been finished on 45% of area. An average crop yield is going to be 45 dt/ha.
She has also stated that the soy gathering was finished in the middle of October. The croppage was 142 thd.t.
