Prodimex Group upgrades Tulinovsky elevator in Voronezh region by the start of harvest campaign 2022

Tulinovsky elevator as a part of GC of Prodimex, located in Paninsky district of Voronezhskaya oblast, is waiting for its global reconstruction. According to the project documentation, additional silos will be built on the enterprise’s area. Works on concrete casting and preparation of foundation for steel erection and silos for grain storage erection are almost completes. The construction is planning to be complete in the spring of 2022. After modernization of elevator, general storage capacity will be more than 120 thd. t., - reported Ekaterina Kuznecova, Deputy Director of holding company Prodimex-Agro, to the Russian Newspaper Agency Voronezh on Friday, November 19.

During 2021, new weighting bridges were put into exploitation and a new dead-end track was built on Tulinovsky elevator. A high-technology grading machine with a capacity of over 120 t/h was installed on the main enterprise’s area in a Panino’s village. Subject to preformed modernization, the elevator will increase volumes of simultaneous grain storage by 15 thd. t. and a grain turnover – up to 35-40 thd. t. From now on, the shipping of grain in a railway transport will be executed in more short terms, without additional transshipment, reported in the Group of Companies.

By assessment of agronomic agency of Prodimex, the sowing of winter wheat in this season is considered to be as favorable. All sowing areas have got even sprouts. A plant condition is estimated as satisfactory.

Concerning strategy crop, i.e. sugar beet, its harvesting on Voronezh’s fields with an area of 82 thd. ha. has been fully complete. 2.8 mln. t. of sweet root crops have been already removed to sugar plants. The sugar beet yield leader among Voronezh’s enterprises of Prodimex has become Ertilsky district indicating 45 t/ha.

– An average sugar content is rather high. We have managed to minimize losses and risks of quality loss of raw material thanks to minimization of terms of field storage of sugar beet in this year. Besides, all Voronezh plants of GC of Prodimex have worked out the whole season without major failures or incidents. This result is due to a constant processing modernization and unique control of all technological procedures during the sugar beet processing. The scheme of prior priority approval of the raw material by sugar beet farmers is valid for years. As a result, we have managed to get rid of transport and loaders detention, queues to sugar beet reception places. The weather was favorable for the seasonable harvesting and export of sugar beet from the fields, – explained Ekaterina Kuznecova.

In this season it is planned to deliver more than 3.6 t. of raw material to Voronezh company plants. A number of enterprises have already finished acceptance and are completing processing of raw material’s remains at plant’s sugar beet reception points. The first who “called it a day” were Elan-Kolenovsky, Pereleshinsky, Khokholsky plants and Kristall of Kalacheev. According to the schedule, a complete halt of plants will be realized during December.

Now agronomic services of Prodimex are planning a sowing campaign in 2022. The Group of Companies has invited tenders for seeds and crop protection agents supply. A tillage has been already completed in many branches.
