Sugar plants located in the south of Russia and owned by the leader of sugar beet industry in the country, the Group of Companies of Prodimex, completed the reception of raw materials from the beet farmers, - reported the press service of the Group of Companies. Thus, during December 20-24 Prodimex farms in Krasnodar and Stavropol krai had completed the sugar beet removal. Sugar beet was harvested and removed from the fields with minimal losses and strictly according to the schedule.

Plants of the GC of Prodimex have been making arrangements of the schedule of raw material delivery by beet farmers for many years in time, thus minimizing transport detention and reducing queues at beet reception points. Almost 1 million tonnes of sugar beet was produced and removed for processing. An average crop yield was 520 centners per hectare. Weather conditions in the current season have been quite adverse. The minimum accumulation of moisture since the fall, as well as high summer temperatures reaching a mark of 40 degrees, were the factors that did not allow the full realization of the inherent crop yield potential.

Agricultural enterprises of Group of Companies are continuing preparing for the 2022 season, as planned: they carry out repairs and preparation of machinery, undergo training, as well as obtain the necessary and mandatory licenses and permits. We remind that the total area of GC of Prodimex cultivated land is more than 800 thousand hectares in 8 regions of Russia. The sowing areas are located in the most developed agricultural regions of Russia: in Voronezhskaya, Belgorodskaya, Kurskaya, Lipeckaya, Tambovskaya and Penzenskaya oblasts, in Krasnodarsky and Stavropolsky krai. The GC includes 14 sugar plants in 6 Russian regions.
