Prodimex Group farms showed an increase in the yield of the main grain crops up to 50%

In 2022, Prodimex Group farms achieved very good results in terms of the yield of the main grain crops. In most regions the yield values are higher than in 2021. This is applicable to winter and spring wheat as well as barley and winter rye.

The gross harvest of winter wheat exceeded 1 140 000 tons and its average yield increased by almost 38% compared to 2021. In 2022, it was decided to expand the area for hard varieties of spring wheat in the group’s Black Earth farms as it is in demand in the region. Agricultural enterprises harvested 270 000 tons of this crop an, compared with the previous season the average yield increased by up to 50%.

The gross harvest of spring barley grown by the farms of Voronezh and Kursk regions and the Republic of Bashkortostan exceeded 220 000 tons.

Meanwhile the average yield of winter barley increased by more than 37% and more than 76 000 tons of this crop were harvested. Prodimex Group farms in Bashkortostan which cultivate winter rye harvested about 4400 tons of grain while the crop yield exceeded the previous season figures by 20%.
