The journalists of the «NashPotrebNadzor» broadcast visited Prodimex group enterprises and showed their audience a long and difficult journey of sugar beet before its turning into sugar. With the help of Roman Gubkin, the Deputy Director for raw materials of the Pereleshinsky Sugar Plant numerous viewers have learnt that sugar beet is a very capricious crop and needs a lot of attention if the producer wants to make high-quality product. And process engineer Elena Sergutkina explains that sugar of the extra fine category is ideal for making snow-white cream or frosting and more affordable sugar of the TC2 category is absolutely suitable for cooking and baking.
