A new peak on Elbrus conquered by a representative of Prodimex Group!
July 16
Prodimex Group specialists are not only professionals in agribusiness but also people with strong character and determination. Recently Alexander Kozubenko from the Voronezh region, a representative of the management company Prodimex Agro, climbed Elbrus to a height of 5,100 m.
Alexander loves an active lifestyle and is keen on mountain tourism and trekking. He came to mountaineering gradually — at first he walked in the mountains and gorges of Adygea at an altitude of 2,000 m and climbed Mount Fisht in the western part of the Greater Caucasus.
Later he made several solo ascents of “three-thousanders” — Cheget, Terskol Peak and the Garabashi base camp on Elbrus. The next goal was the “four-thousanders” — Alexander also made solo ascents to the Priyut Odinnadtsati (Shelter of the Eleven) and to the Pastukhov Rocks in the Elbrus area. Their height ranges from 4,600 to 4,800 m, and they serve as a place for acclimatization before climbing to the summit of Elbrus.
Alexander had a dream — to celebrate his 50th birthday at an altitude of 5,000 m and to master alpine skiing, and last year he made it come true. He made the Elbrus ascent as part of a mountain club, with professional climbers. Preparing for the climb took a year.
Alexander is now preparing for a new ascent — this time to the summit of Elbrus, at 5,642 m.
We wish Alexander success in achieving both professional and personal goals!
