Prodimex agronomists confirm their professionalism at industry competitions
July 27
Field Day began in Bashkortostan in early July. As part of the event, Bashkir State Agrarian University held a competition for the best agronomist in the republic. In all, 17 districts of the Republic of Bashkortostan were represented in the competition. One of the contestants was Kristina Khayretdinova, chief agronomist at NPO Meleuz, part of Prodimex Group. She represented the Kuyurgazinsky district, where the enterprise operates.
Kristina took part in the “Agronomist” category. The program was quite extensive: first, 50 questions on various topics — soil analysis, agrometeorology, personnel management and others.
Then she had to draw up a technical soil-cultivation map for sunflower sowing after spring wheat in the arid conditions of the Cis-Urals. There were scientific tasks too. Participants were given 26 test tubes with seeds of various crops, which they had to identify. They were also shown 10 weed plants, which they had to name precisely, indicating their biological groups, and describe methods of controlling them.
As a result of the competition, chief agronomist Kristina Khayretdinova made it into the top ten agronomists of Bashkortostan. We congratulate the chief agronomist of NPO Meleuz on this success and wish her new professional achievements!
