Prodimex Group employees participated in sustainability training

At the end of February, the employees of agricultural enterprises in the beet growing areas of the Olkhovatsky, Liskinsky and Uspensky sugar plants were trained on the new requirements of the FSA 3.0 (Farm sustainability assessment) program. The implementation of the Program for Sustainability in Agriculture (FSA) will increase the level of compliance with its principles and help to meet the highest requirements of the company’s partners in both environmental and social aspects. More than 40 Prodimex Group employees participated in the last training. Among them were representatives of agronomic services, quality control engineers, regional managers and sugar plants’ raw material executives.
The work of the FSA 3.0 Program will help to convert the results into indicators and improve the performance of specific areas. The Program self-assessment questionnaire includes the selection and reproduction of planting material, soil management, waste management, water management, air quality and emissions, working conditions and much more.
Voronezh region farms of Prodimex Group have already twice confirmed that they comply with the sustainability principles and in 2021 received the highest ratings based on the audit results.
We’d like to emphasize that environmental issues and the concept of a circular economy are focal points of Prodimex Group activities. To draw attention to aforementioned topics our company made eco-friendly notepads and pens completely from recycled materials, namely from recycled tetra-packs and pulp. For all participants of the event it served as a reminder to reduce not only corporate but also personal impact on the environment.
