Prodimex enterprise from Krasnodar region became the «Best Sugar Plant in Russia 2022»

The 10th technological seminar «Technologists’ Club» of the Euroasian Economic Union’s sugar producers took place in Kazan. During the event, the participants discussed a wide range of topics — i.e. import substitution of equipment and components for the sugar industry in the EAEU countries, opportunities to reduce production losses, as well as increasing the efficiency of sugar plants.
When summing up the activities of the sugar industry in the EAEU countries in the 2022/23 season, one of the Prodimex Group sugar plants was especially noted. Uspensky Sugar Plant was awarded twice as «The Best Sugar Plant of Russia 2022» in the Southern and North Caucasus Federal District and as «The Best Sugar Plant of the Eurasian Economic Union 2022».
The plant was launched in 1959. After the enterprise became part of the Prodimex Group its beet slicing capacity increased from four to 11,500 tons per day thanks to the modernization. Last season, the plant produced about 200,000 tons of sugar, including over 52,000 tons of «Extra» category sugar. Also last year, about 70,000 tons of granulated pulp and almost the same volume of molasses which are by-products of beet sugar production were produced.
